Tech: Mina-rs Update – Medium article by Chainsafe
Chainsafe are currently creating an implementation of the Mina Protocol in the Rust programming language. Entitled Mina-rs the new version when completed will succeed the original version written in OCaml and the final result will be something pretty amazing – an in-browser verifying node on Mina in @rustlang.
As someone with a moderately basic understanding of complex programming language it would be foolish of me to try and explain Chainsafe’s work in detail when Willam Olding has written such an excellent article on Medium.
As you can see from the image below, the original Mina black in OCaml is fairly complex.
The Chainsafe team received a community grant from the Mina Foundation in May 2021
