World Mina Day: Mina Cocktails

Just for fun we thought it would be great to invent some custom cocktails (and pizza) to celebrate World Mina Day – 2-2-22. It’s not as easy as you think because virtually all the good flavour combinations have already been put together.

However, we think (after extensive testing) that we’ve created something that reflects Mina Protocol – it’s light (Mina’s blockchain size remains at 22kb) refreshing and it takes inspiration from a classic (The Pina Colada). We choose Pomegranate as an ingredient as there is a type called ‘Mina’.

Mina Colada

Ingredients
2 measures of Pomegranate Juice (or cordial in which case use a dash more soda water)
2 measures of Soda Water
3 measures of Prosecco
Slice of lemon
Slice of lime
Ice

Add the ice to the glass, then add the Pomegranate Juice, Prosecco, lemon and line and stir well.

Mina Spicy Margaritas by Robyn from Mina Foundation

Ingredients
3 limes
2 shots of tequila
1.5 shot of orange flavoured gin
Juice of 3 limes

Extra piece of lime to salt the edges with a mixture of coarse salt and gochugaru (Korean chilli flakes) and Tabasco to taste. For those who like a sweeter cocktail they can add in agave syrup or sugar.
