The Mina Foundation always places great importance on the value Community contributors bring to the Mina Protocol project and I was honoured to receive a 12-month locked Community grant in Q3 2021.

Entitled Updating Mina’s planned inflation and block reward schedule from the original tokenomics it contains some interesting ideas and discussion points around a potential modification to the current planned inflation and reward schedule.

There has been a lot of excitement over the last few weeks as developers have been itching to get started building Snapps and getting hands-on experience using SnarkyJS. After the first ever Snapps Bootcamp we tracked down some of the participants to get their initial feedback.

Sunday (12th Dec 2021) saw the conclusion of the first ever Snapps Bootcamp and there was a huge buzz around the Mina Developer community to get a first look at Snarky J and get some hands-on experience learning about Snapps.
